Abstract


In the microworld, as well as in the macroworld, assembly is a crucial operation in the development of a new product. This paper presents a new, fully automated robot-platform intended for assembly of complex miniature products. The system comprises several cooperating mini-robots and utilizes computer vision to ensure proper execution of the specified tasks.
